Official Name "Breath of Love" ... my name for it "Breath of Lameness"

This is the most stupid movie of all time. No actually I take that back, 4 play/heart of men were d most stupid movies (as far as am concerned) but this right here is just plain foolishness! Don't even waste your time. I am not surprised to see Yvonne Nelson in it - the lady has no taste based on the movies I have seen her in. But the nerve of Ramsey Nouah to be in this foolishness that has no head or tail...smdh! Sorry I can't tell y'all the story line cos 1) It has no story and 2) I only saw 10minutes of it (10 precious minutes of my time wasted *insert angry face*) Literally DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! yeah that's all I have to say.

Jungle Ride --- Best Naija Movie/ My New First Love

Literally, Oh Emmmm Geee!!! I know I said guilty pleasures was my favorite Nollywood movie, but that's so 2010. This movie right here has ultimately stolen my heart. It was so amazing, I completely forgot I was watching a naija movie #awwww#

It is actually pretty short, only two parts: on youtube it's like 1-1 to 1-5 and 2-1 to 2-5. You guys practically have to see it. By the way, did I ever tell y'all the story of the antelope that preferred the smell of corn? ;) you will understand after you see this movie.

ok rantings over: it features the handsome Joseph Benjamin as Akin, the muscular hypertrophic but still cute Chidi Ukwu as Emeka, the douche-bag (based on his character) Femi Brainard as Efousa and two beautiful ladies Omoni Oboli as Irene and Ashionye Michelle Ugboh as Tola and others of course (these are just the main characters). It also has Ngozi Nwosu (I know her as Jemaima from back in the days lol). She played the secretary. Ps: this was kind of a yoruba movie, I mean they spoke English 95% of the time and it is set in Lagos but there were some minimal Yoruba inserted here and there (but when that happened they put an English caption). I really liked the mixture of English and local dialect, it actually made watching the movie more fun and a true nollywood experience.

 I don't even know how to sumarize the story w/o actually telling it...it's all about people pursuing their dreams, mistaken identity, poverty, building friendships, finding love, and knowing when to secure your destiny. Basically, it's about people struggling to survive in this jungle we call a world. I swear, the movie had no unnecessary parts, like I never fast forwarded once throughout the movie. Everything was straight to the point. And boyyyy did the movie capture my attention from the start and keep it till the end. I know am totally raving about this movie, but for real watch it guys, truly watch it!

Totally Random Author's Observation

So, I just realized I never had a welcome page #laughs# isn't that something?

... I, Yv, hereby welcome you all to my blog #drum rolls and clapping# I truly hope you enjoy it

I am gonna try to update as much as I can. I am open to comments, movie suggestions and criticisms...

I am gonna try not to be biased in recommending any movies (even if they have my least favorite actor(s)/tress (es) as lead characters - Oh wait, am prob neva gonna watch a movie that has some1 I dislike in it ...jk) 

... now I that have come to the end of my random post...

My Soul Mate/ End of Soul Mate

Hulllloooooo guys, its been a while! A little update before I go into this movie....

We now have a new blog contributor...drum rolls... meeeeet ...1 minute suspense... I introduce to you allllll ....ok, my very good friend Rae! Yay!!!! 

She is gonna help me with the blog and ...... am so freaking excited :D

Now back to the movie....a relatively good movie just cos I like the ending lol. About a lady (Mercy Johnson) who gave up her child and 10years later went in search of her, found the household that had her child and decides to get a job impersonating a nanny or "professional child trainer" as she prefers to be called (totally rolling my eyes lol) in order to get close to the gurl...long story short, watch it to see how it unfolds. Do I recommend it? Yes and No. 

YES cos it's a partially good storyline, the little girl is cute and the ending was nice lol 

NO cos it's relatively slow and had this boring streak to it. You can predict the story before it's told, the lace front wig on Mercy's friend is very tacky and irritating, and boy, the excessive crying is OH MY LAUD!!! Not to mention the sex scene (ewww #throws up - pls kill me now#} 

seems to have more negatives than positives huh? Why did I watch it to the end? guess it's a slow day for me ;-} 

Can't decide? Ask yourself: am I a Van Vicker/ Mercy Johnson fan? If Yes, watch it. If No, uhhmmm what can I say...just do the coin toss already lol
